Haworth is ideally located to use as a base to day-trip to many places in Yorkshire and the surrounding counties. The village is also a great stop off, if travelling from north to south (or vice versa) from the Lake District, North Yorkshire, Cumbria and Scotland.
Great places to visit include Saltaire with its UNESCO World Heritage Site status, Hebden Bridge and its European vibe, Bradford and its museums, Bingley, home of the Five Rise Locks, Leeds for shopping and culture, Skipton for its castle and market town appeal, Harrogate for the spa, York for its history, museums and the Minster, beautiful Bolton Abbey and the Yorkshire Dales National Park for its breath-taking scenery. There are also many National Trust properties, gardens and sites nearby, including East Riddleston Hall and Gibson Mill.
