Parking and electric car charging points
Like a lot of accommodation in Haworth, we are not lucky enough to have our own parking. Below are some of the closest parking options, including details of our arrangement with The Old Sun pub (5 minute walk).
The Old Sun Inn – West Lane, BD22 8EL
Weavers’ guests can park one car per room in the car park from 3.30pm on the day of check-in.
When you check in you will be given a card by us to display in your windscreen.
This is a new partnership and parking is currently free (may be reviewed in future)
We would encourage our guests to enjoy a drink or meal (it has a very good reputation for food) at The Old Sun during your stay, if you can and wish to. If you do go, please mention you are from Weavers as we’re keen to make this partnership work for everyone and free parking is a very generous gesture from The Sun.
Other Parking Options
· The Bronte Museum Car Park (situated right behind the Guesthouse)
· The Bronte Village Car Park (5 – 10+ minute walk depending on route taken)
Both of the above council car parks operate RingGo to pay by phone or app, as well as payment via a traditional machine. For up-to-date charges you can visit the Bradford Council website. https://www.bradford.gov.uk/transport-and-travel/parking/car-parks-in-haworth/
· Central Car Park on North Street (5 minute walk)
If you plan to park a little further away and wish to drop your bags prior to 3.30pm, please contact us in advance of your day of check-in and we will do our best to accommodate that request, but can’t always promise. If you arrive early on the day of check-in without requesting an early bag drop, it may be that we are not here until 3.30pm. As a small, family-run business, we thank you for your understanding on this.
Cottage Guests - If you are staying in one of our cottages, you have the use of one digital permit for the reserved bays in the Museum Car Park. We will let you know details when you book. If you are staying in one of our cottages and have more than one car, please see above for parking options for any extra cars.
Please note, cars and their contents are left entirely at owners’ risk, wherever you choose to park, including when using a cottage permit. We cannot accept liability for any accidents, damage or loss incurred. Thank you for your understanding.
EV Charging - There are several electric charging points in the area - the nearest to us is in the Brontë Parsonage Museum public car park. Click on the link below for an interactive electric car charging point map: https://www.carwow.co.uk/electric-cars/charging-points
